Youtube is a good resource for all kinds of exercise videos. Here's a few videos that show some of the stretching and exercising we'll be doing at class. Hopefully this will make the "homework" that much easier.

EXERCISING


If you don't feel like creating your own workout, any of these three videos would be good references. These are complete ~10 minute workouts that you can follow along to.

DYNAMIC STRETCHING


Dynamic stretching is done before your run. It is meant to get the muscles loose and ready to work by pumping more blood into them. Follow along with one of these videos for a good pre-run stretch.

STATIC STRETCHING


Static stretching is done after your run. It is meant to relax the muscles after a workout. Follow along with one of these videos after your run.
